We did a little bit of city sight-seeing during our last few days.

Mom heard about this place, Don Quixote, so we had to check it out and see what the fuss was about. Good variety of stuff, but I wasn't impressed.

Yeah, I don't really have much to say about this one.
CAPTION: Forgot to include this photo of the Lawson store. It's ironic: there we were in Japan, three people of Japanese descent and one white woman, and whose last name is plastered all over the place? Not Sumimoto.
EASTER EGG: Tanya completed her paralegal course this month and is now a certified paralegal. I am very proud of her and I apologize for not putting that into the letter. Thus, we see the drawback of having a photo-based letter. Must plan out my letter earlier next year.
EASTER EGG: Yes, we do have a lot of photos to share, but the real reason this year's letter is mostly photos is because I (Mark) have been too wiped out to sit down and compose a decent letter.
EASTER EGG: Minor accomplishments for the year include the creation of a blog that features both handwritten entries and searchable text, which means, unlike most handwritten blogs, the entries can be indexed by a search engine (like Google) or read by an RSS reader.
