Celebrated my dad's 60th birthday before jetting off to Japan for their World Expo in Aichi. The expo is held every five years and my mom figured (probably correctly) that this would be the last best chance to go there with us. Great thinking mom!

I just had to put my hands on this tablet TV at the Sony headquarters, where they show off their newest gadgets. This device lets you carry your TV with you throughout your home, so you can go to the toilet without missing a minute of your favorite show.

Me and mom at the government towers. Tallest buildings around. Used to have a great view of Mount Fuji until the smog obscured it. No wonder Japan is taking big steps toward reducing emissions and cleaning up the air (The theme of the expo was harmony with nature).

The gang's finally all in one shot, and in front of Nagoya Castle no less. Lot of walking here, but I enjoyed the tour. Ironically, despite all the history surrounding the castle, we got more excited about the deer living in the moat surrounding the castle. :)
